Mbaka speaks on the visit of Sultan of Sokoto to Enugu is restoring bridges of Unity

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Fiery Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu,Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, yesterday described the visit of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji [DR] Muhammadu Sa'ad Abubakar, to Enugu as welcome development and as a mark of  restoration of bridges of unity among Ndigbo and the North,stating the visit has also erased a lot of bias of the people against  the unity of the country.

Fr. Mbaka dropped this hints while speaking at the grand reception in honour of Enugu Rangers Football Club,for winning the 2016 Nigeria Premier Football league,NPFL,organized by the Enugu state government.

Mbaka disclosed that he has never had the opportunity to have stayed close with the Sultan of Sokoto except at the event, but when he watched him deliver his speeches  at the event, he  keenly observed that there are a lot of misconception on issues bordering on national unity,which are capable of fueling  crisis in the country,

'The Sultan of Sokoto, when I came and heard you speaking,I noticed that we biased unnecessarily.Your coming here has built a bridge between us and the Northerners.Your coming here have waged a an unseen battle'.

The Sultan of Sokoto  was  the special Guest of honour at the grand reception for Rangers Football club for winning the league, as part of the programme to mark his two day visit to Enugu. The visit will continue today with facility tour to some of Governor Ugwuanyi's project and another reception at Nsukka,where  Sultan of Sokoto spent part of his early life.

.Speaking further, Fr. Mbaka  commended   Enugu state governor,Mr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the good works he is doing in Enugu state amidst the prevailing economic recession and his logistic assistance to the Rangers Football club of Enugu,that gingered them in winning the Nigeria Football league, 32 years after such laurels eluded the state.

Mbaka disclosed that while the logistic assistance came from the state government, he devotedly offered the spiritual aspect of the victory, stating he held several prayer sessions with the players and management of the club during the league season, especially when ever they have fixture with a top and tough club side. He stressed that most  Rangers players in the process matured into  prayer warriors.

He assured to assist  Enugu state government in providing logistic support that will ginger the club in excelling in their international engagements.

Governor Ugwuanyi had earlier announced a total cash donation to the tune of N41.5million[Forty One million ,Five Hundred thousand] to the club for winning the 2016 NPFL and a plot of land to each of the players within the Rangers Estate,Independence layout, Enugu.

The Sultan of Sokoto who was on a two day visit to Enugu and Nsukka, was  the special Guest of honour at the grand breaking ceremony held at Okpara Square,Enugu.
