www.odogwublog.com reports that the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB), has demanded the immediate released of its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and other Biafra agitators held up at various detention facilities across the country as conditions for the proposed visit by President Muhammadu Buhari to Enugu State.
Buhari is expected in Enugu on Thursday December 22, to declare open the South East Economic and Security Summit.
But piqued by the proposed visit, IPOB in a press statement issued yesterday declared that Buhari " is not welcome in any part of Biafra territory" accusing him of nursing penchant hatred and animosity against Biafrans.
The statement which was signed by IPOB's Spokespersons, Emma Nmezu, and Clifford Iroanya, also demanded the inauguration of panel of inquiry to investigate the recent Amnesty International's report that security operatives killed over 150 Biafra agitators in South East.
"Until all those detained are released, and Amnesty International report investigated, Buhari is not allowed into any part of Biafraland. Let Buhari know that if he (Buhari) comes to Enugu or any part of Biafraland, we will die with him there", the statement said.
IPOB also warned South East Governors as well as politicians of the dire consequences of receiving Buhari in Enugu or any part of Biafra land without first meeting the stipulated conditions.
The statement read in part: "We warn that any governor or Igbo politician that receives Buhari in Enugu will have himself or herself to blame.
"We make it public that should there be a breakdown of law and order in Enugu on the 22nd of December, greedy Igbo politicians will have themselves to blame.
" Any Igbo governor or politician that is found among those hobnobbing with Buhari the killer of Biafrans becomes an enemy of the people and shall pay dearly for it. "
"Should Buhari attempt to set foot on Enugu soil everybody involved, from Bart Nnaji to Governor Ugwuanyi will regret it. These criminal Igbo politicians without any iota of shame must know that Buhari is the Grand Patron of the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen that have been rampaging and killing our people in Enugu and other parts of Biafraland in the name of Islam."
