Land Speculation: Thugs Strips Gov. Obiano’s Aide Naked

His Royal Highness, Igwe Gibson Nwosu (Eze Uzu Awka), the traditional ruler of Awka Community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, one time senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Senator Ndi Obi and Sir Daniel Chukwugozie otherwise known as Dozzy Groups are being fingered of having sponsored thugs who stripped one of the engineers (names withheld) attacked with Ministry of Agriculture, Anambra State bare naked recently.

The ugly incident which took place at Oguaju-Agu Nwgwu, claimed to be the property of Elenem family also in Awka when some members from Elenem  family  went to the disputed land with the intention of embracing the return back to farm,  which is a song on the lips of His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano but known to them that the day was to be a bad one for them, they were treated like a common criminals.  

The alleged barbaric act, according to sources came following the resistant by some youths from Elenem  family  who were opposing the disposing of the large portion of farmland inherited by their forefathers and when the family who claimed their originality of the already disputed land went to the land with government owned tractor, the suspected thugs were said to were sent by the duos in an alleged land speculation, only for the thugs to manhandle the government staff as a common criminal.

It was gathered that before now, the forefront man of the people resisting the selling of the land, Chief Obiorah Dibua had drummed the alleged selling off of all the farmlands in Awka community to wealthy people in the society to the ears of Governor Willie Obiano, therefore depriving their entire community from cultivating farm products, which according to them is the cardinal point of both the federal government and that of the Anambra State government.

The dirty drama, it was learnt was not only meted on the government employed engineer as it was allegedly extended to the tractor operator (name also withheld) as both were allegedly held captive by the thugs  until their relations went and paid undisclosed thousands of Naira as ransom before they were allowed to go from the controversial site.

The suspected thugs led by one Tochukwu Nwokoye, on alleged acting on the full instruction of Sir Daniel Chukwugozie otherwise known as Dozzy Groups, claimed  hence Dozzzy Groups bought the disputed land, anybody who dare to tamper with the land will be killed and nothing would happened hence there is money.

Speaking when contacted, Chief Obiorah Dibua called on the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Maduabuchukwu Obiano to brace up and save the people of Awka community from the hands of their traditional ruler, stressing that since the Eze Uzu Awka ascended the throne, virtually all the families in Awka has lost their farmlands to HRH, Igwe Gibson Nwosu.

Efforts made to reach HRH, Igwe Gibson Nwosu, Sir Daniel Chukwugozie otherwise known as Dozzy Groups for comment as at the time of filing this report hit at the rock as calls made across to their phones failed to connect to network.
