Anambra New CP begs Anambra State Chief Judge

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Mr  Samuel Okaula has begged the Anambra Chief Judge , Justice Peter Umeadi to help the police force in fighting crime.
Okaula reiterated the commitment of the police command towards ensuring a crime free Anambra.
Okaula gave the assurance when he paid a visit to the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Peter Umeadi at the state judiciary headquarters, Awka.
The police boss said he will continue from where  his predecessor, Mr Hassan Karma, AIG zone nine, stopped.
According to him, we have already started recording some feats in crime fighting and we assure that the peace and tranquility in the state will be sustained.
He explained that his visit to the chief judge was on familiarization purposes just as he had visited many other major stakeholders in the state.
Okaula, who warned criminals to steer clear from the state or face the wrath of the law, solicited the cooperation of the judiciary in the fight against crimes and criminalities.
The police commissioner appealed to the people to always avail the command of useful information that will enable them to work effectively and efficiently.
Responding, Umeadi thanked him for the visit, assuring that the state judiciary will continue to cooperate with security agencies.
Umeadi, who lauded the efforts of Karma while he was the police commissioner, said he worked hard to the admiration of all and sundry and urged Okaula to continue from there.
Umeadi wished Okaula a happy and eventful stay in the state.
