PDP Man –Enyioha , Chief Ugochukwu Okeke plans to re-launch PDP to capture Anambra in 2017

A stakeholder of the People Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Ugochukwu Okeke (Enyioha) has disclosed readiness of the party to take over the seat of government from the ruling all progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections.

Chief Okeke who made this claim during a chat in Awka, observed that the PDP had failed to win elections in the past due to the several fractions of the party that existed in the state but expressed confidence that the party has been carefully restructured and organized ahead of the governorship election coming up in 2017.

He further explained that their defeat at the national level by the All Progressive Congress (APC)  was more like an eye opener which has exposed a lot of lapses inherent in the party which has motivated the National Working Committee(NWC) to embark on a massive grassroot restructuring journey geared towards harmonizing the grassroot level of the party.

He pointed out that the reformed Anambra state chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP) was now people oriented and that all forms of rift between members of the party has been amicably settled, this he said will help the party in reclaiming her lost mandate from (APGA).

He expressed confidence in the new executives of the state which is led by Mr Ken Emeakayi saying "I believe that with the caliber of the new executives that is piloting the affairs of the party at the state level will come together, united as one to further harness the peace which the party currently enjoys".
