www.odogwublog.com reports that after Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state ordered the demolition of 200 brothels at Amansea cattle market in Awka North local government area, the prostitutes at Nnewi , Ihiala, Ekwulobia, Awka-Etiti, Umunze and Onitsha on the run in Anambra state .

Source at the Hausa cattle market at these locations said that after the demolition at Awka , those at these other locations were panicky and started packing their belongings.

The over 2000 commercial sex workers were rendered homeless and flushed out of business by the Anambra State Urban Development Board (ASUDEB) at the cattle market.

The State Urban Development Board rounded up the place as at 3:12pm with over 50 armed police personnel, saying that the brothels were being used by kidnappers and other evil men in the society.
