Airtel training: Four ABS Staff Selected For Airtel Sponsored Journalism Clinic

www.odogwublog.com reports that four members of staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service have been selected to join 16 other journalists in the Airtel sponsored journalism clinic which began today, Monday, August 17, 2015 in Enugu.

The workshop, a brainchild of veteran communication and journalism professional Taiwo Obe has Mr Dan Mason as lead facilitator. During the training, the participants will take part in individual and team projects on online journalism, journalism ethics, news writing and reporting etc.

Members of Team ABS taking part at the training are Paul Ezeoke, Blessing Ijedibia, Abiola Jinadu and Ejike Abana.

The Managing Director and CEO of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr Uche Nworah said he was delighted that Airtel and the Journalism Clinic organizers have given the organization four slots and assured that the staff will put the new skills learnt into practice when they return. He said that the organization is committed to regular development of the skills of the staff as that is the only way they can be their best as broadcast journalists.

The clinic ends on Friday, August 21, 2015.
