Stampede as police tear gas banking hall

Pandemonium  broke out  last week at a commercial bank, along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway in Awka,
Anambra state.
  An eyewitness who would not want his name in print disclosed that trouble broke out in the banking hall when a cannister of tear gas was released by some security operatives.
  According to him, he was about going into the banking hall, when he saw people rushing out, so he had to wait outside to see what was happening.
  He went on to say that after enquiring, he was told that a military man in mufti had a disagreement with a banker that was supposed to attend to him. The banker called for security and a policeman came and pointed his rifle at the military man. He added that the military man retaliated and after a while, they settled, only for the policeman to go for reinforcement. He came back with some of his colleagues who allegedly threw teargas at the military man which led to a stampede.
