Chairman of Onitsha Township Taxi—Douglas Ivedezi cautions workers

The Chairman of Onitsha Township Taxi and Semi-trucks has passionately admonished transport workers 'not to be like the insult they are given,' by submitting to be
used as violence tool by the shady politicians.
Mr Douglas Ivedezi voiced his mind during an exclusive interactive session with the press, which held recently in his office in Angel Suites hotel Awka.
He said this is in the light of the irregularities in the
just concluded party primaries in the state  and in view of
the election process just around the corner.
Chief Ivedezi also used the avenue to express
his gratitude and accolade to Chief Dr. Willie Obiano's
administration especially for the recent policy to ban sale
of alcohol within and around motor park. He referred to it
as a laudable step which will go a long way in
re-engineering the mindset and general persona of those
who work in and around the parks and
transforming the attitude of the passengers and their
hitherto deprecating nomenclature for their kind.
The park manager quickly advised the government
to earnestly set up regulatory bodies that will move this
policy from the table to the field. He observes that Nigeria
as one country very good at making very wonderful policies
but one country that is also very appallingly weak in
implementation and sustainability though not found in Chief Obiano's governance.
 He encouraged the 'Willingly Working
Governor (WWG)' to continue in his good works and not be
swayed by detractors who have made their pastime negative
criticisms of public servants like them. He pointed out the
beautification process going on in the state, the won battle
over insecurity in Onitsha 'flyover' and Anambra
State at large, and the ongoing construction works in the
state capital and all over and reiterated the need for
 sustaining these giant innovations.

He also commended the wife of the governor whom he referred
as one who is true to her name 'Oso-di-eme' an upright and transparent mother of Anambrarians.
Chief Douglas Ivedezi, the chairman of Onitsha

Township Taxi and Semi-trucks concluded by wishing Nigeria
and Anambra State a peaceful 2015 and prayed that God may
give the people of the world and Nigerians in particular the
strength to bear and ultimately overcome the political,
geopolitical, religious, economic straits she is
 experiencing in the present times.
