The Chairman, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Awka-South Council
Area of Anambra State, Chief Hon. Tony Omeligwe-Oleee has assured his party
faithful that the 2015 general election would be to their favour despite the
mass defection presently rocking the state ruling party.
www.odogwublog.com recalled that Hon.
Chukwuemeka Nwogbo, the member representing Awka North and South at the Federal
House of Representative under the platform of APGA, recently defected to the
opposition political party, All Progressive Congress (APC) along with his
political structure, as a result of his failure to secure APGA’s ticket for
second tenure.
Chief Omeligwe-Oleee, noted that APGA waxed stronger in Anambra state
and Nigeria generally, adding that no political party would be capable to
defeat it at any poll.
He, however, attributed the glory of the party to the giant strides of
the Former Governor Peter Obi and the incumbent, Chief Willie Obiano, and
implored Anambrarians to vote massively for the party on the forthcoming
National and State Assemblies polls, and for President Goodluck Jonathan of PDP
on Presidential race as APGA had earlier adopted his candidature.
