and apprehension today beclouded the people of Ido-Osun in Egbedore Local
Government Area of Osun state over an alleged discovery of an explosive device
in the area.
Residents of Ibikunle estate, Ido-Osun had allegedly reported the purported discovery of an explosive device around the state secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) to the Police in the early hours of today.
A resident of the area, who spoke with odogwuemekaodogwu.com on condition of anonymity, said most of the residents of the area vacated their houses no sooner than the news spread in the area.
odogwuemekadogwu.com gathered that officers of the state Police command also stormed the area, using bomb detectors and other devices to discover where the explosive device was planted.
It was learnt that residents of the area who did not abandon their houses stayed indoor all through the day for fear of the alleged bomb in the area.
A source also confirmed that the efforts of the Police on the explosive device did not yield any positive result as at the time of filling this report as no device was discovered nor detected by the Police.

weeks after the outlawed Boko Haram sect threatened to attack Chibok again, the
terrorist group made good their threat as they are hitching close to
invading the town again with Sunday's invasion of Kwada village, just 10
kilometres away where five churches were torched and scores of people mainly
worshipers killed.
It would be recalled that after the April 14 abduction of over 200 schoolgirls at Government Secondary School, Chibok, the insurgents few weeks ago said that they would be coming back to attack the town.

The churches torched Sunday according to residents of the village include the big three COCIN, EYN and Deeper Life Bible Church where yet to be ascertained worshipers were killed.
According to the people of the village, the hoodlums targeted the attack on the churches during the Sunday worship.
One of the indigene of the town who simply identified himself as Mallam Yahi told journalists in Maiduguri: "They (the insurgents) killed and burnt down houses after they had attacked worshippers in Five Churches in Kwada, and advanced to Kautikari less than 8 kilometres to Chibok town, killing and burning down peoples houses and properties.

According to residents of the area,
the attack started around 9.30 this morning. Many residents of the village and
other neighboring villages have taken refuge in the bushes.
A text message was sent by a
resident to journalists and security operatives calling for help; “Massive
attack on Kautikari now. All security agencies should be notified, and call for
divine help now.” the sms read An official of the SSS confirmed the incident
anonymously to Premium Times “Yes, we also received the report, I believe
action is being taken about now…but no one has been able to ascertain the
nature or magnitude of the attack for now”, the source said
