Obiano Tasked To Be Magnanimous In Victory As Ezeemo Wants ObianoTo Consolidate On Security

Progressives People’s Alliance (PPA) Governorship candidate in 2014 Governorship election in Anambra state , Mr Godwin Ezeemo has lauded the statesmanship exhibited by the Governor elect of Ekiti state , Mr Ayo Fayose for  his magnanimous in victory.

Ezeemo , the Publisher of Orient Daily Newspaper and  Orient Magazine described Fayose as an enigma who rallied around his people of Ekiti for the progress of the state and commended the incumbent Governor , Dr Kayode Fayemi  for accepting defeat in the election and his wisdom for not derailing the wishes of the people by heading to the Tribunal.

Making his stand known in a press statement made available to newsmen in Awka, Ezeemo who is the building the NUJ Press Center in Anambra state worth over three hundred million urged Anambra people to emulate the contenders in the Ekiti Governorship race including Dr Kayode Fayemi , and Hon Bamidele Opeyemi  of the Labour Party  who accepted defeat and rejected all entreaties to head to the tribunal .

He frowned at the situation in Anambra state where those defeated have continued to drag the Governor Chief Willie Obiano to court even when the Tribunal has given verdict in his favour ,appealing to all contenders to know that everybody must not be a Governor or a senator before contributing to the development of his home state.

Ezeemo, the founder of Charity Ezeemo Charity Trust for the less privileged suggested to Governor Willie Obiano to be magnanimous in victory by harnessing the strengths of all his opponents  in the said election in any best way he could to enable him succeed better since Anambra is a difficult state to govern.

He further commended Obiano and his wife Chief Mrs Ebele Obiano for their strides so far in their 100 days in office which were exceptional and remarkable but informed that the development in Anambra would be done better if Obiano and wife rallied around all their opponents in the election magnanimously as exemplified by Ayo Fayose in Ekiti.

On security , Ezeemo charged Governor Obiano to consolidate on his gains so far as any relapse would be disastrous for the citizenry even as he commended his blue print targeted at creating jobs for the teaming unemployed youths in the state especially in Agriculture and Aquaculture.

‘’Obiano and wife have done well in their 100 days in office but I suggest that they would do better by tapping from the strengths of their opponents in the election by considering them in his plans for the greater benefit of the state.
‘ I pray he should unify everybody and bring us all together for his own good like Fayose is doing I Ekiti with his contenders Fayemi and Bamidele and that is what Obiano should do here in Anambra to carry everybody around . He should be magnanimous in victory to be able to appease his contenders.

‘’But I am not in support of these people going to court against the Governor having been declared winner and the Tribunal upheld his victory, they should support him in building a great and viable state and shun tendencies of unnecessary distractions for the Governor.

‘’And now that the Tribunal has given him victory , they should stop further appeal and embrace his victory for the peace and development of the state. That is my take.

‘’The Governor should not relapse on his achievements on security because any little slumber would be disastrous for the citizenry in the state. He should therefore consolidate on his gains on security to make Anambra industrialists destination in a short while to take off the army of unemployed from the streets. He has to pursue his four pillars and its other enablers to ensure lives and property is secured in the state and youths busy too’’, Ezeemo concluded.
