Wrong prescription in Anambra hospitals killed my babies, Ogbuehi, Ijeoma Sarah, Former S.A to the Head of service of the Federation, now in Nise
Letter to the Editor
I humbly wish to complain over some maltreatment, tribalism and so on
that take places in hospitals in Anambra state due to lack of constant
and thorough check of those hospital when it comes to quality of drugs,
materials and other equipment they use in treating patients.
I have been a victim of these Hospitals. Each time I was pregnant, it
was either they rejected me or they gave me wrong treatment that always
resulted to the loss of my pregnancy.
For
example, they inject drugs like Chloroquine or any other injections that
are not good for a pregnant woman. I am an Economist and not a doctor
and I need treatment by a hospital staff to get well. Sometimes the
nurse they gave my card would complain and make comment like, "Is this
not a sign of pregnancy, why injecting this woman. Let them stop rough
handling patients because they like this person or not. Let the NAFDAC
and NDLEA ensure thorough checking of all hospitals.
Thanks.
