Fear grips APGA, PDP Aspirants in Awka North and South as Chief Emma Nweke, Hon Rebecca Udoji declare to contest House of Reps, State Assembly in APC

 www.odogwublog.com reporter Cynthia Chidimma Igbokwe reports that fear has gripped Aspirants in other Political Parties in Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Anambra state particularly All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following the declaration of Chief Emma Nweke and Hon Rebecca Udoji-Paragon to contest for the Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly respectively under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nweke, who is the Founder, Esther Nweke Charity and Educational Foundation, is running to represent Awka North and South in the National Assembly, while Udoji , a former House Member is requesting to return to represent Awka North in the State House of Assembly.

APC executives in the 10 communities of Awka North representing 14 wards of the local government area defied the rains to receive the aspirants and listen to their message of hope if elected to represent them. 

Hon Udoji, who represented Awka North, and was Chairperson, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development in the state House of Assembly reassured the people of Awka North that her representation was unique and all those who worked for her success then had no regrets embarking on the journey with her.

She said she equally did her best representing the people during her stay in the House despite the distractions in the court and everywhere throughout her stay, regretting that all she had in mind for the people of Awka North have been abandoned. She asked for support to continue from where she stopped.

On his part, Chief Nweke narrated his journey with the people of Awka North and assured that he has a full package for them if supported to represent them in the National Assembly. He said he declared early to ensure he reaches out to every community with his aspiration for better decision taking during primary and actual election, appealing for their support.

Chairman of APC in Awka North, Hon Mbakwe Onukwue said with their aspiration in APC, the battle for a real electoral challenge and contest in 2019 is beginning, assuring them of their support and a level playing ground to actualize their dream.
