Nigerian Music legend, Mr Ras Kimono, is dead.


Reggae Star Ras Kimono  died at age of sixty (60).

Mr Ras Kimono who was known for hit songs like ‘We no want’ and “Rum-Bar Stylée” was said to have concluded plans to travel to the United States last Saturday, after complaining of feeling funny.

According to reports, the legendary Reggae artiste was rushed to a hospital in Ikeja, Lagos State where he was later taken to Lagoon Hospital on the Island where he passed on.

Meanwhile , former Anambra state Governor , Mr Peter Obi who said it was not up to two weeks he met Ras kimono at a function, where he expressed his longing to meet with him in the future, followed by the normal exchange of phone numbers, said he was saddened by his death. He described him as one musicians whose songs conveyed meaning even when they were pleasant to the ears. Calling on budding musician to imitate his likes that played music with passion, he prayed  for eternal repose of  his soul.
