Bishop Ibezim Inaugurates St. Augustine's Parish Abagana

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Alexander Ibezim, has inaugurated Saint Augustine’s Parish Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of the stat



Bishop Ibezim asked the church to consolidate on promoting discipleship and work of evangelism and encouraged the church to work towards winning souls for Christ and helping one another as they run the heavenly race.

He prayed that the Holy Spirit to energize and give them direction as they run the race of Salvation.
In a sermon to mark the inauguration service, the Archdeacon of Adazienu Archdeaconry, Venerable Samuel Okonkwo, thanked God for the height the church has attained and enjoined the parishioners to double their efforts at evangelism.

He called on parishioners to become intercessors who will never rest until the promises of God are manifested.
The vicar of the church, Reverend Canon Basil Orji, Who expressed gratitude for the historical event, prayed God for the strength to forge ahead.
