Bishop Ezeofor moves To Aguata Diocese



www.odogwublog.com reports that Bishop of Ogbaru Anglican diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has performed his valedictory service and translation as Bishop of Aguata Diocese at the Basilica of Saint James Cathedral, Atani.
 
At the event, the Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr Nkem Okeke assured that the state Government will ensure that more democracy dividends and development get to Ogbaru area in the present dispensation.

Okeke encouraged the Ogbaru Anglican Communion to take the change in good faith, believing God that his successor may be as good as him.

In his message during the service, Bishop Ezeofor appreciated the support and care the people of Ogbaru showered on him and his family during their stay adding that he would miss the fellowship with them as he translates to Aguata Diocese.

Bishop Ezeofor expressed joy that their stay in Ogbaru yielded positive results both spiritually and physically and urged the people to extend same fellowship to the in-coming Bishop.

In an address, the Executive Council of the Diocese led by the Chancellor , Justice Peter Obiorah, extolled Bishop Ezeofor for his numerous achievements in the Diocese and praised his wife, Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor, for uplifting the women’s Ministry of the Diocese to an enviable height, asking God to rewards them abundantly .

Highlights were cutting of cake by the Bishop flanked by his wife, Deputy Governor Nkem Okeke and other bishops that attended the ceremony , presentation of gifts to the Bishop and wife, thanksgiving, renditions by the Cathedral choir and Christ Ambassador’s Seminary, Ogbaru.
