Ahaigboamaefu Movement in Aguata stood up for Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah

THE AGUATA CHAPTER OF AHAIGBOAMAEFU     MOVEMENTS/ INITIATIVE IN A COMMUNIQUE AFTER TWENTY WARDS COORDINATORS AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVES MEETING HELD AT ORTHOM PALACE HOTEL, EKWULOBIA WITH THE STATE LEADERSHIP ON 28^TH JANUARY 2018

The Ahaigboamaefu movement/initiative, a socio-cultural organization of selected Igbos with a vision to champion the discovery and development of Igbo virtues whose major aim is to reposition the Igbos socially, culturally and politically. Aguata chapter met with the Anambra coordinator, Comrade Sir Peter Okala at Orthom Palace Hotel Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Council. On Sunday 28^th January 2018.

The group deliberated extensively on its mandate and objectives which is the bedrock for the emancipation of the Igbo man who is currently at the brink of extinction. It saw the Igbo man as a child of circumstance who must survive through the pain of labour and whose oppressors are determined to eliminate out of the face of the earth if care is not taken and frantic efforts put in place to restore him.

The group reflected on the boldness of our heroes past who put then lives, properties and resource on the line to see that the Igbo man is delivered from the wicked hands of its oppressors.

Igbos like Aguiyi Ironsi, Michael Okpala, Eze Akanu Ibianu, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dim Chukwuma Odumegwu Ojukwu and a host of others whose memory were a source of inspiration were mentioned, a moment silence was observed in repose of their souls.

The meeting also took a constructive notice of our heroes presenlywho also put all it takes to reshape and restore the Igbo man both socially, spiritually, economically and politically like Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, Senator Ikekweremmadu Nnia Nwodo, Kanu Nwankwo, Dr. Willie Obiano , Senator Sir Victor Umeh and Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah who is the youngest of all with youthful vigor which he used in crashing the prize kerosene in Nigeria at Fifty Naira (N50) per litre, thereby defeating the oppressors of Igbo man who in castrated him for months but was able to beat them in their own game.

The group stood up for Dr. Patrick Ubah for single handedly leading ndi Anambra cum ndi Igbo to a resounding victory in the just concluded November 18^th 2017 governorship elections in Anambra State, a feat that is unprecedented in Igbo land and in Anambra State. It was noted that Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah in the face of those playing to the gallery came out boldly, spent his precious time, money and other resources staked even his political carrier on the line to initiate and empower the AHAIGBOAMAEFU which changed our myopic past and ushered in a new initiative where Ndi Anambra from across board were now made stakeholders in the electoral victory that repositioned the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ndi Igbo cum Southeast and once again restored the hope of Igbo man an all encompassing Political Platform which forms a gate way to the southeast cum Nigeria, the AHAIGBOAMAEFU brought new creativity and sensitivity to both ndi Anambra and its inhabitants from the southeast and created a new dawn, initiatives, cohesion stability, sensibility while laying everlasting foundation for the emancipation of the Igbo man.

Speaking earlier the coordinator of Aguata chapter of AHAIGBOAMAEFU Mr. Dickson Ezeihesie eulogized Senator Dr. Victor Umeh for being a one man riot squad who started the initiative and stood his ground going through the rigorous Legal and Political processes that coincided with Ahaigboamaefu initiative which ushered in the realization of Igbo man. He said the  first APGA Senator in Victor  Umeh will in a record time, open, a floodgate for more Igbo Senators of APGA extraction, a development that will unite the southeast Politically, bring hope to the hopeless and rechannel our cause.

The state publicity secretary Comrade. C.C. Emereonwu in his vote of thanks extolled the leadership life style of Dr. Willie Obiano who remained steadfast for the cause of Ndi Igbo by building All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to accommodate all and sundry and touching the lives of Ndi Anambra by first securing their lives and properties which earned him the second tenure. In her own contribution the state woman leader of AHAIGBOAMAEFU Barr. Lady Christy Amobi extolled the quantity of love that Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah have shown to ndi Igbo both at home and in the Diaspora by bringing his investments to Igbo land as a source of empowerment to his kins men. According to her, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah took after Dim Emeka Odumgwu Ojukwu while Senator Victor Umeh is an adopted child of Ikemba hence the blessings of Gburugburu Ndi Igbo is bestowed upon them”.

High point of the inauguration was the conduct of the entire meeting in Igbo language and upholding the culture of the host community (Ekwulobia) in celebrating the presentation of kola nuts, the mode of dressing was in total reflection of Igbo cultures and values as participants were dressed in traditional attires.
