www.odogwublog.com reports that People from all walks of life particularly politicians of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and members of the Anglican Youth Fellowship as well as friends and well wishers gathered at St Andrews Anglican Church, Ezira , Orumba South for the dedication of Little Miss Rejoice Nzubechukwu Angel Moses to God.
Little Rejoice
is the daughter of Mazi Moses Akam , the Chairman of Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) Orumba South and President of Anglican Youth Fellowship
(AYF) Agauta diocese.
In
his sermon to mark the child dedication and thanksgiving service for
Moses Akam’s family and his elevation to a Lay Reader in the diocese,
Archdeacon Ezira Archdeaconry, Ven Dr Chukwunonso Obi appealed for love,
peace and unity of purpose for the progress of families, Church and
society.
Without Peace
and unity of purpose according to Ven Dr KMC Obi , medical Director
Chukwunonso Hospital, Oko, there would be no progress in any endeavour
embarked by a group like the church and appealed to Eziagu people to
ensure they embrace the virtues.
Speaking
on the theme: ‘’The power of Unity’’, Ven Dr Obi encouraged good
relationship as according to him; it opens doors and enables one to
actualize its dreams since the only key to success is better human
understanding and relationship. He confirmed that love is the greatest
gift mankind can give to one another.
Sir
Chukwudi Umeaba , the Caretaker state Chairman of PDP , lauded Lay
Reader Moses Akam for his commitment in the Church of God , hence he
remembered to thank God for His good deeds adding that thanksgiving is
very important for more open doors.
Mother
of the Rejoice, and wife of Akam Moses, Mrs Joy Moses was excited by
the solidarity given them by relatives, friends and well wishers even as
her Elder brother and in law to Moses Akam , Mr Samuel Ekwolo prayed
that little Rejoice shall grow in the fear of God and that the parents
shall train her to her desires while she reciprocates such gesture later
in life.
Assistant
Youth Leader of Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF), St Andrews Anglican
Church , Ezira , Nonso Onwuka said the youths were happy the President
is doing great in the lord, while the Parish Priest of the St Andrews
Anglican Church Ezira , Reverend Ugochukwu Okafor described the event as
apt even as he elucidated on the need to thank God no matter the
situation.
In his remarks, the celebrant Mazi
Moses Akam thanked his guests for identifying with his at his moment of
celebration and asked God to reward them abundantly.
