Anambra PDP Primary election: ‘’How I wish it is Ifeanyi Ubah’’ By Emeka Okwa, Awka Ward 5 PDP stakeholder

I and my team wept bitterly when the Anambra state People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary election was concluded and our hero Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah , Ebubechukwuzo Nnewi, was not announced as the winner.
We had worked very hard and wished God grant him the opportunity to bring his philanthropy to bare in the governance of the state as he has demonstrated severally in other fields. We were shocked at the outcome and have been in tears because we wished Ubah emerged.

Ubah I know is not only classic in intelligence, a patriot par excellence and profound in compassion for humanity but dynamic in everything.
I know him as a philanthropist with a large heart and knows no boundaries especially when it concerns Igbo land and Anambra in particular.
Ubah was the candidate to beat but elections are a different ball game. He had everything going for him and suddenly we heard strange outcome results. What has happened? How could we know?
During the 2013 Governorship election in Anambra state, and afterwards, Ubah’s Capital Oil and Gas Ltd released over 400 trucks to inject about 70million litres of petroleum to Nigerian filling stations and assisted in the Kero-direct programme of the Federal Government where kerosene was sold N50.00 a litre.  The Oil and Gas company has over 4000 workers across Nigeria.
Ubah set to empower youths in Nigeria and beyond by establishing the International stadium in West Africa when completed. Already over 4000 youths within and outside Nigeria have been empowered as workers in the numerous projects in the stadium or as professional footballers with FC Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club, and Academy, Nnewi.
The FC Ifeanyi Ubah Charity and Educational Foundation, has been giving free education, community development like provision of Borehole waters, Electric transformers, road construction and repairs, free fuel and kerosene distribution to the public.
The foundation is building a 3000 seat-capacity catholic cathedral for his home diocese, even as he has built and fully equipped state-of-the-art tech, a 160 seat-capacity ICT Centre for the Nigerian Defense Academy, Kaduna and another at Federal University of Technology (FUTO), Owerre among others.
Ubah has built houses for widows across Anambra with some over 2000 students under his scholarship from Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institution. He has built roads and street lights around Nnewi. He has equally sponsored many politicians including all Chairmen and councillors under Labour Party during last general elections.
And to cap it up, he has engaged in the establishment of  media houses like Authority Newspaper and Authority Radio stations.
Ifeanyi Ubah could be seen as Aliko Dangote or Donald Trump of the South East
