Unizik stood still for Prof Emma Okoye

www.odogwublog.com reports that Professor of Fo­rensic Accounting, from the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Management Sci­ences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka ,Prof. Emmanuel Ike­chukwu Okoye, is now a Governing Council member of Unizik. The election just held.  

Prof Okoye won with 378 votes out of 780 votes and defeated 4 others including Dr Kingsley Ugorji, who got 221 votes, Agwuna Raphael with 122 votes , Uzoma Anyaegbuna-Nwokeabia with 54 votes and Mrs Joy who got 20 votes.  Four votes were invalid even as Nnewi votes were not added up.
