Police arrests suspect who sold AK 47 Riffle to Fulani Herdsman.

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Enugu state police command said it has  arrested a notorious gun runner that supplied AK 47 rifle to a Fulani herdsmen, named Ibrahim Adamu, at 9th mile Corner,near Enugu yesterday.

 It will be recalled that the later[Ibrahim Adamu] was arrested a few months ago for allegedly harassing and intimidating some rural dwellers in Akpakume community in Udi council area of Enugu state with an AK 47 riffle until he was eventually overwhelmed through the combined efforts of the police and the villagers.


 According to  Enugu state police  public relations officer,Mr Ebere Amaraizu [DSP], the gun runner who gave his name as Alhaji Samaila Garuba, was arrested by the operatives of the 9th mile division of the state police command  through intelligence reports.

The suspect whose nickname  is  known as  'AKa Bakasi' was earlier implicated by Ibrahim Adamu as the one that sold the AK 47 RIFFLE to him but he went into hiding  aftermath of  Ibrahim Adamu's arrest, Amaraizu stated.

However luck ran out on him  when  through intelligence information the operatives  trailed him to a  motor park situated at 9th mile  in the early hours of yesterday.
He was arrested after he tried effortlessly to escape.

The  suspect  is now helping the operatives in their investigations in relation to his nefarious activities. He told the police that he hails  from   Shagari village in   Sokoto state.
