Ensure fulfilment of promises, APC tells Akeredolu

The All Progressive Congress[APC] in Ekiti state, has congratulated the victorious candidate of the party in the recently concluded guber in Ondo state Rotimi Akeredolu[SAN], over his victory in the polls.

The state publicity secretary of the party, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said in a statement in Ado-Ekiti that Akeredolu's victory in the polls has confirmed the confidence that Nigerians, particularly people of the south-west have in APC and its leadership to restore hope to the people.

The party also congratulated the people of Ondo state on their peaceful conduct, before, during and after the election, that did not record any untoward incident, saying that such a civilized conduct was a product of transparency and openness that President Mohammadu Buhari is instituting to strengthen democratic practice in Nigeria.

The party praised Akeredolu for running an issue-based campaign devoid of violence. Olatunbosun urged the governor-elect to activate the process that would enable him deliver on his promises to the good people of Ondo state who did so well by coming out en mass to vote for him.
