SOYINKA DENIES ANTI-TRUMP STATEMENT, DRUMS SUPPORT FOR HIM

In what seemed like a dramatic change of mind, the award-winning literally icon Professor Wole Soyinka has denied the recent statement credited to him, saying he would destroy his green card and return to Nigeria if Donald Trump eventually emerge victorious in the fast approaching much anticipated presidential poll in the United States of America. Speaking to Odogwu Media Blogs Reporter via phone, the celebrated writer blatantly denied the widely circulated statement saying, "My attention has been drawn to the recent trending false statement supposedly made by me. It baffles me why some people will decide to fabricate non existing news and begin to feed the general public with falsehood. I have nothing against Mr. Trump and i wish him all the best in the polls. Mr. Trump is a successful billionaire business man and i am sure the American people understand what he brings to the white house if he eventually wins the election. It is for the American electorates to decide who rules them and not me. I don't even belong to any political party, neither in my home country Nigeria, nor here in the States. I have always made it clear that i don't involve myself in partisan politics."
