Moses relishes Chelsea's Victory

Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses, has expressed delight at his club's recent victory over stubborn Middlesbrough last Sunday.  Diego Costa scored the only goal of the encounter deep into first half when he capitalized on a goal-mouth scramble to bundle home the decisive goal, which also took his impressive goal tally to 10 goals in the ongoing season.

The hard-earned victory also catapulted the London club to the summit of the EPL table, after former table toppers Liverpool drew against Southampton earlier on Saturday. Moses who was  voted Man of the match in the encounter told Sky Sports that, 'We showed good character from the start, we a few chances in the first half which we should have taken.'

In the second half, they came at us and we were strong at the back, generally, we did awesomely well today to snatch the maximum points. I am delighted and excited to be in the first team. The new manager wants to give the youngsters an opportunity to express themselves. The top is very tight and the competition is getting more intense every week. It is going to be a very long season but we will take every game as they come. We will keep our calm, but at the same time we will avoid the temptation of being complacent. We hope to remain at the top of the table till the end of the season, that's the only way we can win the league.
