IGBO TRADERS BACK TINUBU, SEEK END TO DISCRIMINATION IN LAGOS

Traders of Igbo extraction under the aegis of Igbo Traders in All Progressive Congress[ITAPC] have urged the Lagos State Government to increase its interaction with them for better understanding rather than fanny embers of discrimination in the state.

The traders in a communique issued at the end of its maiden meeting in Lagos at the weekend, said they deserved increased government engagement as this would ensure better understanding of their needs with a view to removing some of the barriers being faced in different markets in the state.

According to the communique presented by their coordinator, Mr. Erondu Chinedu, the traders sought an end to what they called discrimination against the Igbos on levies and taxes at the various markets. The group also declared unflinching support for the embattled APC leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
