BARCELONA SET FOR MOUTH-WATERING DUEL WITH SEVILLA

La-liga champions, FC Barcelona will have their title credentials tested, when they visit Sevilla in a Sunday evening encounter. There will be no let-up for the Catalan giants after they were unraveled by the intense pressing of Manchester City last time in the Champions league encounter at the Etihad stadium. Sevilla's Argentine coach Sampaoli has taken the club to fourth place in the table on 21 points, only 1 point behind their Sunday visitors in second place, while his team also tops their hampions league group H on 10 points after easily dispatching Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 on Wednesday. He has also won every game in the league and in Europe in Sevilla's Sanchez Pizjuan stadium this season, only losing the Spanish cup first leg against Barca sometime in August.

Barcelona are still missing midfield maestro Andreas Iniesta, and influential defender Gerald Pique through injury, while Jordi Alba is a doubt, and their injury woes are heightened by the loss of form in players they often rely upon. Sergi Roberto, one of Barca's brightest performers this season, was caught out by City, gifting the ball away for Ilkay Gundogan's equalizer, while Sergi Busquets on his part produced another worrying display in what has been an inconsistent season for the Spanish midfielder. The Catalans will be keen to keep up the pressure against table topping Real Madrid who had earlier in the day saw off their hosts, CD Leganes by scoring three un replied goals to further cement their position on the table.
