Redeemed Pastor, Beloved Dan Anike, Enugu former Commissioner butchered by kinsmen in Umuchigbo Nike

 www.odogwublog.com reports that fracas arose at Umuchigbo Nike, a serene community in Enugu East local government area of Enugu state, as an ex Enugu commissioner, Mr. Beloved Dan Anike was yesterday butchered by his kins men over allegations bordering on land tussles.

The incident occurred at about 2.15PM,near popular Adoration Ministry

The former commissioner, who is also a Zonal Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was rescued in a pool of his own blood after he sustained several machete cuts by passers-by and was rushed to the Anti-Robbery Special Squad, SARS, office where he received first aid treatment by a Police doctor before he was moved to Eastern Medical Center.

This was even as the Pastor's site Engineer, Emmanuel Ogbo, who was working at the site was said to have been kidnapped by the gun toting cultists allegedly led by Francis Anike. It was gathered that the cultists had tied Ogbo's hands and legs and slammed him into the boot of their vehicle and drove off.

While reeling in pains on his hospital bed,Beloved Dan Anike said:"the Community Chairman, Francis Anike, whose tenure is about to elapse has been engaged in indiscriminate resale of people's properties in our community. He has been a notorious land grabber who is well known to all security outfits in the state and beyond. He settles the security agencies with plots of land in order to evade arrest.

"When I was the community chairman, we had a computerized land registry to enable the community know who owns what property at any given time. Since Francis took over from me in 2012,he discarded the computerized land registry and engaged in parcellation of existing registered layouts owned by people. I have petitioned severally to security agencies and they did nothing because their hands are tied haven received land gifts from Francis.

"This time around he parceled 20 plots of land in Umichigbo High School and sold it. He also resold plots of land owned by Rock Family Church. He equally parceled my own plots of land and sold them. I got wind that he had gone to my site to stop the Engineer from working and i rushed to the place and found out he had already kidnapped Ogbo. As I was reversing my car to leave the site,i noticed some cars behind me and it turned out that Francis and the cultists had blocked me from exit.

"They quickly came down from their cars and besieged me with machete cuts. I fell down and they also pounced on my Personal Assistant, PA, Oge Nnamenne. Francis stood, and was urging them to kill me. We were eventually rescued by passers-by and rushed SARS".
