Ifeanyi Ubah blows hot, refutes ritual claim, frays Obiano’s media

Business mogul , Publisher and oil magnet, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has reacted to accusations of ritual killing projected by Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano’s media team.

The statement: ‘’If I may interject, does it mean that the man who was the orchestrator and purveyor of this malicious lie would not be mandated to apologise?
Does it mean that this will end with his ejection from the group as we see no value in insisting that the orchestrator apologizes?
Do I not deserve an unreserved apology from this faceless person? Are we going to act like nothing happened?
Are we aware of the mileage his story got and its effect on my name?
Ejecting the culprit cannot be the end of this. He who goes to equity must go with clean hands.
If the line of thought behind this organized smear campaign was to spite me, then the orchestrators are delusionary.
Like I have said on different occasions and in different fora, I am not a public servant and I have never collected government business or contracts which is why I am still a free man today.
For the sake of clarity, Ikechukwu Onyia is an indigene of Anambra state and a member of the electorate.
As such, he reserves the right to demand answers from the government, especially as it concerns how his state is governed.
This is totally detached from his responsibility as my Media Assistant.
Permit me to throw some light at some inactions that might be the government's undoing. I was once in Ghana when my name was mentioned that I gave Fayose money for his elections.
I immediately called into the Channels programme to debunk the assertion. Consequently, the issue died a natural death.
When someone like Ikechukwu Onyia, for example, faults the claims of the government on the production and exportation of Ugu, the onus lies on the government to put things into clearer perspective by presenting the facts in the interest of Anambrarians as Ikechukwu might not be the only one with such a question.
That Ikechukwu criticizes the government is not my business because he is an Anambrarian and is entitled to his opinion as a member of the electorate.
Exercising his rights would also not make him lose his job as my Media Assistant.
There is a clear and distinct line between Ikechukwu's responsibilities as my Media Assistant and his freedom to exercise his rights as an Anambrarian.
Ikechukwu has been in political activism long before I recruited him and he has worked with so many politicians.
He was not my Media Assistant during the last gubernatorial election and people should not try to bring his personal life into his work with me.
The truth is, if someone goes to the media to say that the Governor collects N1.2 billion monthly as security vote and the issue is ignored, the chances are that people will pick on it and start propagating same as true.
Let me put something straight. By the grace of God, I am the publisher of The Authority Newspapers.
Have I for once used The Authority Newspaper to fight the government?
Or have I used other media platforms that I am involved with or in control of to fight the government?
If I really wanted to fight the government, would these platforms not be better positioned to fight them rather than Ikechukwu who is not up to 5percent of my media paraphernalia?
It is a pity that some people do not really understand the man "Ifeanyi Ubah". Without sounding boastful, I wish to state that I am a super counter puncher.
I do not start any war but when it comes to me, I never chicken out.
All the battles that I have fought, I have been the one to receive the first blow and by the grace of God, I have always emerged victorious.
I also thank God that this recent one has also been vanquished. However, I would not let it be swept under the carpet like nothing happened.
I intend to inform the Royal Cabinet members of Nnewi this weekend on the manner of libel being peddled against me even though the issue has been partly resolved.
After their counsel, I will decide on my next line of action.
Rest assured that this has opened a whole new dimension to the political terrain in Anambra state and no one knows where and how this will end.
As I rewind, I wish to puncture some of the claims made by the orchestrators and vendors of these malicious lies.
They insinuate that the supposed killing happened 10 years ago was not sufficiently thought out.
The story could have carried more weight if they claimed it happened 20 years ago as my success dates back to the early 1990s.
Continues…

Another pertinent question to ask is why did the father of the supposed niece that I used for ritual killing keep mute all these years?
Why did he not come out during the last gubernatorial elections in a bid to expose me?
Why was the son of the herbalist that came to tell them of how their daughter was used for rituals not arrested?
Why was no report made to any police station?
Why will a father who suffered such a heavy loss allow the issue to die down simply because Ifeanyi Ubah has money?
Why has this my supposed "uncle" not used any of the community meetings/fora available to him to tackle this issue?
To assert that I am on the run from my community and Nnewi is the highest degree of falsehood.
Is it not the same Nnewi that played host to Enyimba Utd on the 25th of September, 2016 which was attended by my humble self, members of Nnewi's Royal Cabinet and other prominent Anambrarians, most especially Sir Emeka Offor?
Is it not the same Nnewi that also played host to the Managing Director of WestHam United on the 6th of October, 2016 as we unveiled FC Ifeanyi Ubah's partnership with Westham United FC?
As well as kick-off the Football Made in Anambra '1 Family - 1 Footballer' programme; an event that was graced by the presence of the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu on behalf of H.E. Governor Willie Obiano and H.R.H. Igwe K.O.N. Orizu III accompanied by some members of his cabinet?
Is my alma mater, Okongwu Memorial Grammar School, that I, alongside the Managing Director of Westham United visited and made donations to on the 6th of October, 2016 no longer in Nnewi?
Who have I offended and why am I being penciled down for character assassination?
To my detractors, I will be in Nnewi from Saturday 22th of October to the 25th of October, 2016.
You can come and witness the boundless love we share in my community, Umuanuka, Otolo-Nnewi.
I have heard that so many people go around saying that I cannot do anything. It is pertinent to note that the other battles that I have fought and won were also crammed with the same claims.
I also want everyone to know that APGA is what it is today because of the battles I fought for the party.
If I did not do this, H.E. Willie Obiano would not be the Governor of Anambra State today because they would be no APGA to front him.
So I believe he owes gratitude to God first, then to other instrumental persons that fought for the survival of the party like myself and as such, I deserve respect from his media men.
Let it be on record that I have never asked my media group to fight anyone, most especially, my friend, the Governor of our beloved state, H.E. Willie Obiano, who is someone I have a lot of respect for.
But if his media men see me as a threat and have penciled me for malicious attacks, well, let us see who will laugh last.
Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah
