Prince Sir Arthur Eze
Through

St Mary’s Anglican Church
Ukpo,
Dunukofia LGA.
Anambra State
Dear Sir,
LETTER OF REQUEST
With respect and admiration to your fearless, brazen, outspoken, dogged and courageous personality, we, the members of the aforementioned association humbly write you in request for your support towards the success of our 2016 celebration of World Sickle Cell Day.
The World Sickle Cell Day is an annual event of UNO event that is hosted on the 19th of June. It is aimed at sensitizing the public on the causes and impact of the sickle cell disorder in the society.
The growing rate of sickle cell victims is becoming quite alarming, and our Association have decided to tackle the issue head on, on order to rid the off the disorder which I s born out of ignorance of couples who neglect the impact of their genotypes before marriage.
We seek to enlighten people through our ongoing sensitization campaigns on the need to check the compatibility of intending couples before they get married.
Our campaign aims to reach out to many youths as possible, and we could achieve this goal if your office lends us your gracious hands of support, as we wish to reach out to many primary, secondary and tertiary institutions as well.
Our campaign does not only enlighten the public, but also creates a room for victims of the disorder to join us, and benefit from various entitlements as members. We pay their school fees, take care of their health care, and empower them.
However Sir, given the Robust relationship the Association has enjoyed from St.Marys Anglican Church Ukpo  after Our thanksgiving visit, we wish to appeal to your magnanimous and benevolent personality, to support us in this year’s celebrations as we flag off a Sickle Cell Clinic in Ukpo during the celebration. The clinic would serve the purpose of facilitating the medical needs of our members within and around Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State
Celebration for this year’s event shall be held on 18th of June, at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, where we could reach out to more youths who are our targeted audience, and on the 19th and 26th of June, the association would go for thanksgiving at St. Patrick Cathedral Awka and St. John Anglican Church Ekwulobia respectively. The date adjustment became very necessary because this year’s event falls on a Sunday
We solicit your support and sponsorship towards the success of this year’s celebration of world sickle cell day, as we are preparing to host sickle cell victims from various states, including, Enugu, Kano, Adamawa and Rivers, who have indicated interest to join us in the events this year, after they have read and seen our exploits in Anambra State.
Thanks.
Yours Faithfully,
