Obiano′s Aid Faults CCSMEPS On workers welfare ----commends managing of Fulani herdsmen crisis by Obiano

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Senior Special Assistant to Anambra State  Governor on Political , Matters, Hon Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, has faulted the statement credited to the President  of Collation of Civic Society and Media  Executives for Policy Stability, Comrade Innocent Ebirim Okadigbo that the Cross River Governor, Prof Ben Ayade is the most worker friendly governor in Nigeria.

Mr. Okadigbo made the assertion while extolling Prof Ayade whom he remarked paid April 2016 Salary on May 1 .

But while reacting to Mr. Okadigbo Statement in Awka, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Political Matters, Hon Tony Collins Nwabunwanne said that Chief Okadigbo statement cleanly showed that he lacked information.
He said that Anambra State governor Chief Willie Obiano had continued to pay the salaries of Anambra State    works on between 25th  and 27th of every month and wondered why Okadigbo did not reflect that.

He said: “I want to fault President Okadigbo because he lacked information. Even though the Cross River State governor Prof Ben Ayade and Chief Willie Obiano are very friendly, the fact remains that  Governor Obiano has consistently been paying workers salary between  25th  and 27th of every month.

He insisted that it is therefore important that both the Cross River State governor and other Governor’s should emulate Governor Obiano on payment of salaries and other welfare issues.
He remarked with delight that Governor Obiano has consistently increased workers salaries and provided buses for their transportation to and from the office.
Acceding to him, governor Obiano had also sponsored training and retraining of workers to enable them increase their productivity.

He said: ” Many workers recently embarked on computer training under the state government arrangement.
Governor Obiano is no doubt the motivator, the trail blazer, role model, galvanizer and successful manager of human resources development”
He should therefore be emulated because he has surpassed all other Governors”.
Mr Nwabunwanne also commended Governor Obiano for Managing the problem of Fulani herdsmen in the state.
According to him, Anambra state would have been the first to experience disharmony in the relationship between host communities and the herdsmen, but for the affective handling by the Governor.
The Governor he said, had assured that compensation were paid to any party whose crops or animals were damaged, while the Fulani herdsmen were often involved in security meetings to give them sense of belonging.
