Obi’s shopping mall to be opened by Obiano on Thursday

Anambra state Government invites Ndi Anambra, members of the State Executive Council and political appointees, Chairmen of Local Government Transition Committees, Ndi Igwe, Presidents General of Town Unions, Chairmen of Market Associations, members of the clergy, the Academia and all other stakeholders to the official inauguration of Onitsha Shopping Mall.

Governor Willie Obiano, will on Thursday, next week, commission the nine billion naira ultra-modern one-stop-shop, leisure and entertainment Onitsha shopping mall.
The Governor will also at same occasion officially open the ten million dollars sixty well stocked shops that had already provided about seven thousand direct and indirect jobs with their multiplier effects.
Addressing newsmen in his office in Awka, the Special Adviser to the Governor on economic Planning and Budget and Member Governing Council of Anambra State Investment, Promotion and Protection Agency, (ANSIPPA)
Mr Mark Okoye 11, said the investment as an innovative, cuts across what he called two buckets of the state’s economic blue print of the four developmental pillars and the four Cees.
Mr Okoye who stated that the project is one of those inherited from the previous administration, described it as a platform to showcased and monetize the proceeds from the State Agricultural Trade and Commerce Sectors.
He however stated the total land mass of the mall is forty thousand square metres which comprises eighteen thousand square metres gross built area, sixteen thousand square metres gross let-able area and six thousand square metres walk ways.
