FC Ifeanyi Ubah in killer mood against Giwa FC

As FC Ifeanyi Ubah confront Giwa FC today in their 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) opener, Jos fans should be ready for a classical encounter, following the Anambra Warriors’ declaration to snatch first away win in their first away game in the season.

Brimming with confidence after an attempt to stop them from playing in this season was quashed by a Federal High Court in Awka last week, the rejuvenated FC Ifeanyi Ubah are ready to give their hosts, Giwa FC a dose of their new brand of football and roll over their opponents.

Club chairman, Chukwuma Uba is very optimistic of a good outing against Giwa FC, noting that FC Ifeanyi Ubah have a re-defined mission in the NPFL this season and are determined to justify the investment of their President, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on the club.

“We are ready and determined to prove that the huge investment in the club is justified. The technical crew, the management and the players have a common resolve to start well with a win against Giwa FC and take it from there. As far as I am concerned, it's a big match, and one that we are ready to give our best to win. We promise to give our fans something to cheer at the end,” he said.

The President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah,who was elated at the ruling of the Federal High Court in Awka in favour of the club, is confident the team will win its first game of the season today. “I will be cheering my team to victory on Sunday,” he said.

Also chairman of the Nnewi-based side's supporters club, Iloka George said the team will win its first game since it has been vindicated by the court ruling on its behalf, insisting that the supporters club is ready for the first match to cheer the team to victory.
