Actors gather as Arakangudu is buried

Last Tuesday, February 9, Nollywood woke up to the sad news of the death of veteran actor, Sikiru Adeshina popularly known as Arakangudu. The remains of the actor who died of heart attack was laid to rest on Wednesday, Febru¬ary 10 in his hometown, Osogbo, Osun State.
In attendance at the event were Hon. Rotimi Makinde, Monsuru Obadina, Adebayo Tijani, Muyideen Oladapo, Lukmon Raji, Ajala Jalingo, Abeni Agbon, Tunde Amoke, Tafa Oloyede, Olofa Ina, Jinadu Ewele, Bukky Lawal, and many others.
Known for his characteristic role in Nollywood flicks, Arakangudu had gone off the acting radar for some years after suffering from an undisclosed ailment that made him abandon his Lagos base.
Before his demise, the late Arakangudu produced many award-winning movies, which include Iya Oko Bournvita, Agba Osugbo, Aje Olokun, Ogbologbo, Ilu Gangan, among others.
