Dickson’s aide Kidnapped by Gunmen in Rivers

Captain Henry Ungbuku (rtd) , Special Adviser on Aviation to Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday.

It was gathered that Ungbuku was abducted as he was about leaving the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Light House Parish, in Iwofe, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State after service with his abductors waiting for their victim to come out at the end of the service before kidnapping him.
A witness told our correspondent that the abductors had a gun pointed at Ungbuku ordering him to open the door of his vehicle. After which he was driven to an unknown destination.
“I didn’t know they were kidnappers until I saw one of them pointing a gun at Ungbuku’s head.
“I  saw them speed off. We are not safe in this country” the witness said.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, confirmed the incident saying that effort are being made to see to the rescue of Ungbuku and arrest of the kidnappers.
