Breaking news: Fire at POWA market

The Police Officers Wives Association (POWA)  market inside the Police barrack behind Lagos state police command at GRA Ikeja is on fire this evening.
Property worth millions of naira is estimated to have been lost to the inferno, while the spokesman for the Nigeria Police, Lagos State command, Mr Dolapo Badmus, a Superintendent of Police, said that no life was lost  and that the force has deployed a detachment of policemen to safeguard the area.
