Assemblies of God Church ownership Crisis deepens as Supreme Court stalls injunction restraining Emeka

Christians should be asked what the Assemblies of God church members are disgracing Christendom for? What is the bone of contention, is it the gospel or filthy lucre? Why fighting over Church which is the body of Christ and tomorrow you preach repentance and salvation? Who is deceiving who?
But that did not stop jubilation which erupted, yesterday, in the camp of the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Paul Emeka over the Supreme Court’s decision that struck out an application brought before it by Rev. Chidi Okoroafor seeking to restrain the former from parading himself as the GS of the church.
The AG has been embroiled in leadership crisis since 2013 with Okoroafor, the deputy to Emeka, claiming that his faction had suspended the GS and ex-communicated him from the church which led to a litany of legal fireworks.
But while briefing newsmen at the Assemblies of God Church headquarters in Enugu, the GS, Paul Emeka described Supreme Court’s decision to strike out the application as a victory for standing on the path of truth.
“Okoroafor and his cohorts had boasted how they will eject me and my followers from over 30 branches had the injunction come through. They filed an application for an injunction seeking to restrain me from parading myself as the GS and from occupying any Church property.”
