It was a moment of joy and celebration for the people of Ameke in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and their counterpart, Nochele, Ndeaboh in Anniri Local Government Area of Enugu State, following their resolution to live together in love and oneness irrespective of boundary issues affecting them.
This was the resolution reached during their peace meeting which took place at the palace of HRH Igwe Benedict Eze, Eze Agbo VI of Ndeaboh in Ananri council of Enugu State.
In a chat, the Agu III of Ishiagu kingdom in Ivo council of Ebonyi State, HRH Eze Moses Ngele, who expressed joy over the peace existing between both communities, urged the people of Ameke and Ndeaboh to start from now to live in unconditional love as there was no gain in living in hatred and acrimony.
According to Agu III, fresh farming activities had been abolished in the disputed land until the issues surrounding boundary dispute had been laid to rest.
