Breaking News: IPOB Government Gives Federal Government Ultimatum on Nnamdi Kanu’s Release

IN AN URGENT MEETING HELD ON 9TH DECEMBER, 2015, BY THE SUPREME
COUNCIL OF ELDERS OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA, IPOB

The Customary Government of IndigenousPeople of Biafra IPOB, represented by
Bilie Human rights initiatives, in a suit Number FHC/OW/CS/192/2013, between
the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
In the light of the present stand down of the Youths of Indigenous people of Biafra
and Federal Government of Nigeria on the issue of the arrest of the Director Radio
Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and other arrested pro Biafran activist, sequel to
further consideration as it relates to the matters in Court, and on Biafra issues
generally do hereby give the following instruction.

1. That all Demonstrations and protest by all pro Biafrans groups should with
immediate effect cease for now.

2. That all pro Biafra groups are to attend an urgent meeting on a date to be
communicated later.

We want to also use this opportunity to appreciate all the indigenous people of
Biafra Youths for your usual obedience to the instruction of supreme counsel of
elders of indigenous people of Biafra, while advising the federal Government of
Nigeria to respect the right of the indigenous people of Biafra to self
determination, and that our agitation is for the right to call our self Biafrans.
