APC caucus describes wife of President’s visit to Fr Mbaka as master stroke

                                                                          
The south east caucus of All Progressive Congress (APC) has described the recent visit of wife of the President Mrs. Aisha Buhari to Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka as a master stroke with a call on her to remind her husband of the urgent need to work on the federal roads in the zone.

According to a statement issued to select newsmen in Enugu the spokesman of the APC leadership, in the zone, Mr. Osita Okechukwu said that Mrs. Buhari visit to Catholic Priest and founder of Catholic Adoration Ministry, Enugu was apt and commendable.

Mr. Okechukwu appealed to wife of President to inform her husband on the need to commence work on the second Niger Bridge, Enugu Coal resuscitation and other federal projects abandoned in the southeast.

He said that resuscitation of industries and physical infrastructure in the region would no doubt motivate Igbo people to join the President, Muhammadu Buhari in constructing a progressive Nigeria and “dissuade and douse feelings of pro-Biafra agitators.”

“Let me use this opportunity to implore the first lady to remind her husband of the decay and collapse federal roads in the south east, the revamping of coal industry and continuation of work on other abandoned federal projects in the zone”, comrade Okechukwu stated.

The spokesman also called on the people of south east to give the President, Buhari the needed support to effect the positive changes in the nation adding that the cooperation was vital to achieving of desired goals.

It would be recalled that Mrs. Buhari was in Queens School, Enugu to flag off her pet project, Health Screening initiative for the South-East and during the visit she utilized the opportunity to pay courtesy call on Rev. Fr. Mbaka.

Mbaka had prior to the Presidential election held in March predicted that Muhammadu Buhari would win election which generated a lot of controversy both in the state and the nation.
