President Muhammadu Buhari has withdrawn the name of immediate past Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto, from the list of ministerial nominees.
“The President has sent a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, notifying him of the withdrawal of Ibeto,” a Vanguard report said.
The report gave no idea about the reason or reasons behind the President’s action.
10 ministerial nominees were screened and cleared by the Senate yesterday, with another 11 were screened today and the remaining 15 tomorrow.
