How man kills self over wife"s sex life

                                                     
 The sleepy town of Aboji, Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra state was recently thrown into tumult, following the death of a commercial motorcycle (Okada) rider, who committed suicide by hanging himself on a ceiling fan hook after accusing his wife for allegedly sleeping around with other men.
   
According to our source, the man in his mid-thirties known as Mr. Sunday Ezea ,who was a native of Aku town in Igbo Etiti L.G.A, Enugu State,had just been married for about four (4) months.
   
Neighbors told our reporters that it was no longer news that the late Sunday was notorious for wife battering. They said that starting from the very first month he got married to Mrs. Ukamaka Ezea, the woman had been suffering a great deal from the hands of the late husband due to incessant quarrels and beatings the woman receives almost on daily bases on mere suspicion that she was dating other men outside her marriage.
   
It was gathered that two nights before Sunday killed himself, the wife received the worst beating of her life.

“Actually, Ukamaka was nearly strangled by the husband if not for the timely intervention of the mother-in-law of his neighbor, who came for (omugwo) that forced the door open when she could no longer bear the screaming coming out of the room only to see Sunday gripping the wife on the throat and was about snuffing life out of her. The elderly woman separated the fight.First thing on Wednesday morning ,Ukamaka packed out of the husband’s house with the help of her elder sister who came on hearing about that night’s beating.”
   
Reports said that Ukamaka was rushed to a clinic for medical treatment that Wednesday and that the deceased went to see his wife at the clinic where verbal exchange of words ensued between the in laws.
   
A source who pledged anonymity alleged that Sunday received death threats via phone calls from unknown persons who claimed to deal with him because of the way he beats the wife.
   
Later that Wednesday evening ,Sunday was said to havevisited different liquor houses where he enjoyed many bottles of alcoholic drinks and cigarettes.
   
It was gathered that he later went to his elder sister’s house who was living close to his house, where he ate his last meal ,after which he vowed to her that he will kill the wife and kill himself even if it was the last thing he would do.
   
On Thursday morning, the neighbors were said to have  discovered his body hanging from the ceiling when forced the door open .
   
The police have since commenced investigation into the tragic incident to ascertain the remote causes.
