Hold firm, Obiano urges APGA faithful

www.odogwublog.com reports that Governor Willie Obiano has called on APGA faithful to hold firm their believe in the party as the only party with Igbo agenda.
Governor Obiano made the call while addressing APGA members in Anambra south senatorial zone at Ekwulobia., Aguata local Government Area during  the inauguration of the party’s executive members in Anambra south.
According to governor Obiano, APGA has done the state proud through the institution of developmental projects that placed the state on a higher pedestal.
The governor who listed some of his administration’s recent strides, including the recent truce brokered between the custom service and Anambra traders that has resolved the issue of multiple custom levies, called on the APGA faithful to work hard in order to woo people into the party through their dedication and loyalty.
While thanking them for their performance during the last election, the governor said that APGA is waxing stronger with both the old and new national chairmen working together.In a speech, the national chairman of the party, Mr. Victor Oye,expressed optimism that APGA, as the party to beat, will project Ndigboin the country, promising to deliver ten states to APGA come 2019.
On his part, the state APGA chairman, Mr. Nobert Obi, thanked past executive members of the part at ward, local government and senatorial levels for steering the party towards progress, expressing the hope that the new leadership will deliver the party in 2018.
In a welcome address, the south east zonal coordinator of the party, Chief Titus Anigbogu, who charged the new executives to work assiduously to return Governor Obiano in 2018, tasked them to increase their party's membership at the grassroots level.
