Enugu police intensifies grassroots security

                                  
Enugu State Police Command has  put in place measures to intensify  security at the grassroots by organizing a community Security Summit for Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state.                              

The state’s  Police Public Relations Officer,  Ebere Amarizu , said the community Security summit scheduled  to take place at the conference hall of the Nkanu West Local Government Area  on  tomorrow,  would have in attendance , the local government chairman of Nkanu West, traditional rulers in Nkanu West and their town union presidents, religious leaders, members of  sister security agencies, members of the Police Community Relations Committee, Nkanu Wes,t  the state chairman and executives, market leaders,youth leaders and other stake holders, including heads of media organization in  the state.

According to him, the community security summit is aimed at sensitizing members of the public on security related issues with a view to making communities safe and secure.
