Anaocha vows to improve on sanitation

                                                                       
Anaocha Local government administration has made another giant strive to improve the sanitary condition in the local government headquarters, Neni.This is sequel to the official building and commissioning of a hygienically improve public toilet system.
    In his speech during the event, the chairman of the council,Ikeobi Ejiofor said the improved toilet system was the first of its kind and befitting for workers and visitors of the council.
    He enumerated some of his projects to include digging of a functional bore-hole, that have been connected to different quarters of the council, construction of a podium for the wellbeing of the council.
    The LG boss charged the workers to manage and sustain  the project by using the best practice of keeping the toilet facility clean and also promised them of more developmental projects.
Earlier in her speech the supervisor for works,Mr Chukwudi Onyekwelu ,extolled the chairman for fulfilling his promise to take care of the workers and solicited  the support of the staff to the local government administration by being productive,so as to take the council to  greater heights .
    Also speaking ,Head of Local Government Administration ,Anaocha, Mrs Eugenia Odika ,expressed joy for the developments in the council area,regardless of the meager revenue of the council.
    She commanded the National Union of Local Government  Employees (NULGE) executive in the area for their co-operation with the chairman for the growth of the council area.
 Contributing; the chairman NULGE, Anaocha unit, Comrade Chikwelu Adigwe, described the toilet facility as one of the challenges facing the workers in the area, and promised that the union will do all it takes to maintain and sustain the project.
    Highlight of the event was the commissioning of the facility by the chairman and the legislative members and solidarity song by the workers to the chairman.
