Anambra NAPPMED Vows To Fish Out Drug Dealers

                                               
State chapter of Nigerian Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers ( NAPPMED), has vowed to partner National Agency for Food, Drug and Administration Control, NAFDAC, in the war against fake and adulterated drugs.
Speaking during the inauguration of the 3-3/Trans Nkisi unit of NAPPMED, the state President general, Comrade Amechi Macpaul Ozobia, expressed satisfaction that members have become aware of the gravity of dealing in fake and adulterated drugs.
He urged the newly inaugurated members to be of good behaviour and avoid the antics of the opposition led by Cyprian Odachi.
His words, "we are the authentic group recognized by the state government.
He urged members to ensure they obtain all the necessary requirement and payments for license to sale.

His words, "Obiano knows we exist, rapid diagnostic kit should be given to us free to enable us detect diseases. Illiterate members are being trained also.Don't fear if you sell drug because Nigeria knows we exist”.
In his response, the newly inaugurated unit chairman, Comrade Anijah Gabriel U, who was accompanied by his secretary, Christopher Nweke, recalled how they started the battle from the former chairman, adding, "many of us were afraid of what will be the outcome, but thank God that our efforts have come to light today".
"We have gained admission into the Authentic NAPPMED family in the state. We all saw the light during the Roll-Back Malaria Programme ,when we were trained, paid our entitlements, only for our chairman to short-change us during the procurement of ACTs from the zonal store in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Health", he stated.
