A patron of the mechanic village and the Hausa community, Francis Brown, told our correspondent that from February to date the spot had recorded the death of 23 persons either due to head-on collision or brake failure.
While calling on the state government and authorities concerned to relocate the mechanic village to avoid further incident of ghastly motor accident, Brown decried the incessant road accidents along the Asaba-Benin Expressway saying that most of the accidents were caused by brake failure.
