Word of the masters 101 By Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka , Ogirishi Igbo

Forgiveness means letting go of the hope for a better past. Forgiveness is the finishing of old business that allows us to experience the present that is free of contamination from the past.

There is a great future in front of you, you can leave your past behind. Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.

He, who spends time regretting the past, loses the present and risks the future. Before moving on, you have to clear away your cherished beliefs.

Live life with no regrets and no resentments. Whatever happened in the past, forgive yourself and others. Choose love. Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
History is a vast early warning system. History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon. The highest result of education is tolerance. The importance of history is in it's educational value for our lives today, not in regret, resentment, or revenge.

Stop holding on to the past. Release your regrets about whatever you may have done or failed to do that turned out poorly. Forgive others for whatever they may have done or failed to do that cause you harm.

Declare today to be a new beginning. Let go of the past and move on with creating a joyful new future for yourself. If you aren't in the moment, you are either looking forward to uncertainty, or back to pain and regret. Never look back unless you are planning to go that way.

Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness of being happy. Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn. You won't give up 'til goats sing and walrus’s fly. Just stop it. Seriously. Whatever it is. Just stop it. If only for an hour, a day, a week.
Stop doing it long enough to get a glimpse of what the change would actually look like. Live out of your imagination, not your history. A prudent question is one-half of wisdom. If you want peace, stop fighting. If you want peace of mind, stop fighting with your thoughts.Re-examine all that you have been told...dismiss that which insults your soul even if read from any book whether holy or unholy book. Your soul is only instrument that can transcend beyond and it needs not to be hurt, in your soul you are 100% free.

It is your soul that never die and can get back to the heavenly world when the body demise. When what you are doing is frustrating your soul, STOP. Pause to consider the true importance of the task. Reflect on whether there is a better plan for reaching your goal. When you let go of what you are, you become what you might be. Letting go doesn't mean giving up... it means moving on. A big part of letting go is recognizing when it is time to stay in a situation and when it is time to move on. This the 101 edition of Ogirisi word of the masters.
