NAWFIA MONARCH WAGES WAR AQAINST HIS SUBJECTS by Sir Ezugo Nwigbo

Nawfia community boils as monarch raises spurious allegation of assassination attempt on his life in a futile attempt to cover up for his reign of terror against his subjects who are fed up with his tyrannical rule.
Uruana Village kindred head, Catholic Church faithfuls in Nawfia, Anglican Communion also in Nawfia, Afor Nawfia Market Women Association and some prominent indigenes of the town accuses the monarch of high handedness, intimidation and authoritarianism.

Following a publication made by Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo of Nawfia in Njikoka L.G.A., Anambra State in the National Light Newspaper of Thursday, August 20, 2015 VQI 22 NO 31, page 19 titled "Monarch alleges assassination plot" The monarch alleges that some people in Nawfia Community are after his life.

The secretary general of Uruana Village kindred in Nawfia Community yesterday dismissed the allegation of attempt on the life of Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo by some people in Nawfia Community as baseless and unfounded. It is a futile attempt by the monarch to divert the attention of his subjects to perpetrate his evil intention on Nwigbo/Akabuogu land owing family of Uruana Village kindred in Nawfia Community.

Sir Ezugo Nwigbo who is the secretary general of Uruana Village kindred kindred said that it is rather unfortunate that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo has chosen to mislead the public by spreading falsehood using the National Light Newspaper. He reiterated that the traditional ruler was the one after his life and some principal members of Nwigbo/Akabuogu land owing family of Uruana Village kindred Nawfia because of their ancestral inheritance, that is, the Nwigbo/Akabuogu land situate at Uruana Village kindred Nawfia.

According to the secretary general, Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo has on several occasions with the instrumentality of thugs armed with guns, matchets and other dangerous weapons invaded Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land and the houses of some principal members of the family, to Wit, Chief Chukwueloka Akabuogu, Messrs Chukwukelue Nwigbo and Obiajulu Nwigbo. In one of their numerous evil attacks, Chief Chukwueloka Akabuogu, the head of the family suffered heart attack and still suffers from the ailment occasionally.

Sir Ezugo Nwigbo stated that it is an insult on his person for Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to insinuate that he was being used by Chief Sir Victor Nwankwo to assert his right or that of Nwigbo/Akabuogu family over their family land which is their ancestral inheritance.

About December, 2014, Chief Sir Victor Ifeanyichukwu Nwankwo (a cousin to Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo) and a renowned philanthropist assisted St. Anthony's Catholic Church Nawfia in procuring some plots of land worth several millions of naira in Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land. No sooner has the church started development on the land that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo personally led armed thugs and invaded the land about February 2015. They uprooted survey beacons planted on the land and ordered the contractor and his workers to stop work on the land. The Catholic Church in Nawfia Community has made several representations to the Nawfia monarch who has neglected and refused to heed to the voice of reason. Members of Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo led armed thugs who invaded the land sold to St. Anthony's Catholic Church Nawfia by Nwigbo/Akabuogu land owing family in about February 2015 includes; Chinedu Ngini, (Sege), John Agunabo, Michael Agunabo, Edozie Nkemka, Chigbo Nwankwo, Ozoemena Nduka, Chidi Okongwu, Onyekwe Okonkwo, Anthony Agunabo and Eloka Okechukwu. It is rather unfortunate that St. Anthony's Catholic Church Nawfia lost about 200 bags of cement and other valuables worth above two million naira as a result of the stop work order by Igwe Chijoke Nwankwo on the aforementioned property.
Recently, about the 12th day of August, 2015, Jesus Poverty Alleviation Ministries, a non governmental association wrote the executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano complaining the interference and trespass by Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo using armed thugs in the property of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Nawfia situate at Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land Uruana Village kindred Nawfia and prayed His Excellency to prevail on Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to stop his unjust and unwarranted interference in the property of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Nawfia.
Sir Ezugo Nwigbo further stated that it is regrettable that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo has debased the once exulted traditional stool of Nawfia
parts of Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land not granted the Anglican Communion.
Sir Nwigbo also stated that his family made several representations to the Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion and the. result was the release of several plots of land to his family by the Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion following the kind intervention of his Lordship Rt. Rev. Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim (Ph.D), the lord Bishop of Awka. The plots of land released to Nwigbo/Akabuogu family in Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land was evidenced in a memorandum of customary grant of land executed between Nwigbo/Akabuogu family and the incorporated trustees of the Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion and further in survey Plan Nos: RU/AN 2001/2014 and RU/AN 2002/2014. Sir Ezugo Nwigbo challenges the Nawfia monarch to come up with title documents in proof of grant of the land by his grand fathers to the Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion.
Sir Ezugo Nwigbo further stated that in exercise of Nwigbo/Akabuogu family right of occupation over the Nwigbo/Akabuogu family land, his family on Friday 14th August, 2015, created access roads on their aforementioned family land and whilst they were feasting for their achievement on the land on Saturday 15th June, 2015, Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo sent his armed thugs to his residence at Uruana Village Nawfia. The thugs armed with botties, guns, matchets and other dangerous weapons inflicted severe bodily harms on his driver one Mr. Onyeka and two others. The armed thugs abducted his driver and the two others and took them to Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo's residence at Nawfia. The armed thugs who invaded Sir Ezugo Nwigbo's residence on the instruction of Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo includes; Chinedu Ngini (sege), Michael Agunabo, Edozie Nkemka (their leader), Chigbo Nwankwo, Nnamdi Ekwenugo, Nnamdi Nwankwo and Onyebuchi Ngini.
Sir Ezugo Nwigbo challenges Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to open up and tell the public the truth of what happened on Saturday 15th August, 2015, insisting that there was never youth unrest in Nawfia but rather what happened was that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo fabricated the story of youth unrest to cover up his ugly role in the development that led to the assault occasioning bodily harm on his driver and two others. He stated that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo in his futile to exonerate himself from the ugly incident which was masterminded by him quickly invited the police rescue unit and handed over his driver and the two others to them

Sir Ezugo Nwigbo challenges Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to open up and tell the public the truth of what happened on Saturday 15th August, 2015, insisting that there was never youth unrest in Nawfia but rather what happened.was that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo fabricated the story of youth unrest to cover up his ugly role in the development that led to the assault occasioning bodily harm on his driver and two others. He stated that Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo in his futile to exonerate himself from the ugly incident which was masterminded by him quickly invited the police rescue unit and handed over his driver and the two others to them
claiming that they were injured as a result of youth restiveness. The police rescue unit according to Sir Ezugo Nvj/igbo then took his driver and the two others to Abagana police station were they volunteered statement to the police that they were attacked by the thugs sent by Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to the residence of Sir Ezugo Nwigbo.
Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo further in his futile effort to counter the statements made by the victims of his attack of 15th August, 2015, sent three of his thugs to Abagana police station who falsely misrepresented themselves as security officers and volunteered statements to Abagana police station stating that the incident of 15th August 2015, was as a result of youth restiveness. The thugs sent by Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to Abagana police station who impersonated the security officers were Onyebuchi Ngini, Nnamdi Nwnakwo and Eloka Okechukwu.
The DPO Abagana police station on realizing that Onyebuchi Ngini, Nnamdi Nwankwo and Eloka Okechukwu were involved in the attack of ,15th August, 2015, requested Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to produce the three men.
Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo rather than producing the three men to Abagana police threatened the DPO stating that he has written the Inspector General of Police and Anambra State Commissioner of Police against the DPO Abagana police station. The Abagana police station has now declared Onyebuchi Ngini, Nnamdi Nwankwo and Eloka Okechukwu wanted persons.
Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo is an agent of anti development to his Community. Recently Afor Nawfia market women association in a letter dated 10th August, 2015, to His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano the Executive Governor of Anambra State, complained of the infringement on their fundamental rights by Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo who stopped the development initiated by Nawfia Indigenes outside Nigeria at Afor Nawfia Market. The development includes; provision of. bore hole water with over head tanks, modern toilet facilities, fencing of the market as well as installation of iron gates at the market. Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo sent armed thugs to the market who ordered the contractor to stop further development in the market after collecting a sum of ten thousand naira from him thereby exposing the traders at Afor Nawfia market and customers who patronize the market on daily basis to the menace of armed robbers. The market women association in their letter
prayed His Excellency for justice and to use his good offices to prevail on Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo to allow the improvement of Afor Nawfia market.
Among other numerous sins of Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo foisted on Nawfia community includes;
1.    He rejoices when his subjects are in pains.
2.    He refuses any project by government, organizations or individuals to be attracted to Nawfia community.
3.    He should be made to account for compensation money paid by the Anambra State government to Nawfia community for Nawfia land acquired by the state government.
4.    He did not ascend the kingship of Nawfia community by due process as he was not democratically elected.

Finally, Sir Ezugo Nwigbo prays God to judge Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo.
The story continues...
