The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)  has issued a statement, informing members of the public that fraudsters are using the Group Managing Director, Dr Ibe Kachikwu's name for fraudulent purposes.
A statement released by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr Ohi Alegbe, said “The new NNPC is transparent and follows due process and requires no intermediaries to procure contracts or engage in any business with it. Anyone found to be engaged in such nefarious activities should be treated as an impostor.”

He said the fraudsters promise to award oil contracts to unsuspecting Nigerians.

Alegbe also warned Nigerians not to listen to anybody telling them that they can get appointments.
